ESG - Our contribution

ESG - Environment, Social and Governance are more important than ever. We take our share of responsibility and focus on what we can influence the most.

ESG is part of our business strategy, and our focus has always been on what we can influence the most. What is measured is done, and in 2020 we expanded our ESG commitment by linking ourselves to the International Business Council's Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics. To support this, we measure and report our measures in three focus areas: "People and Prosperity" - people and opportunities, "Planet" - environment and "Principles of Governance" - management.

People & Prosperity - We set ourselves ambitious goals for diversity, equality and inclusion. We are committed to developing talent and influencing on a large scale, so that more people can enjoy a greater share of the world's prosperity.

The planet - We set ourselves science-based ambitious goals that deal with the environment and climate and aim for zero emissions.

Principles of Governance - We are committed to setting high ethical standards in our industry and leading the business to create long-term value for all stakeholders.

ManpowerGroup's report "Working to Change the World", describes how we set and follow up our ambitious ESG goals. The report is about collectively taking care of people and our planet, and this must be done quickly and with an even greater focus than before. Our ESG report is a further development of our sustainability plan and our sustainability pillars and focuses on what is most important and what matters most to our candidates, employees and customers.

We see continuous competence development of all our employees, regardless of where they have their workplace as crucial to our competitiveness. Competence development is also crucial for the individual's opportunity to remain relevant in the future labor market. Companies also need competent and learning-oriented employees to win in their markets and in their industry
Diversity and equality
For us at Jefferson Wells, diversity and equality are important goals. Competence-based diversity creates the conditions for increased growth and healthy organizations. Our recruitment processes are structured and objective, and skills, knowledge and competence always come first.

For us, it is important that our employees reflect the diversity that exists in society. In the same way, this is one of the reasons why people want to work with us.

Equality exists only if it is promoted
Jefferson Wells actively promotes career opportunities for women, and has documented processes and goals to show that this is more than words. In our organization, it goes without saying that women are represented in all roles and at all levels.
Environmental impact
As part of ManpowerGroup, we at Jefferson Wells work to reduce the negative impact our business has on the environment, and have a systematic environmental work based on continuous improvement. We are now environmentally certified in accordance with ISO 14001. The work is an integral part of ManpowerGroup's quality system.
