Our Contribution

"Ethics", "Sustainability" and "Social responsibility" are much more than words for us - the content of these words is what defines us as a company and the way we run our business.

Our Sustainability Pillars
We have chosen to focus our sustainability work on three areas that contribute to a sustainable labor market and positive societal development. In these three areas, we contribute both through daily chores and activities and through our community involvement.

1. Ready for work
We give many young people their first job opportunity. We help young people get to work quickly after completing their education, and we can offer education in the required skills and professions through our Academy solutions.

2. Update of competence
We help people build skills for the modern working life so that they can stay occupied and relevant throughout their career. In today's rapidly changing working life, constant learning is crucial for being attractive in the labor market. Our employees always have the opportunity to develop their skills and quickly gain experience from various tasks. We offer all our employees access to the ManpowerGroup's competence portal, powerYOU. powerYOU gives employees access to over 10,000 e-learning courses, books, videos and micro-learning.

3. Integration and inclusion

We work for equal and inclusive jobs. We believe that the key to integration is to have a job to go to. Our consultants and advisers provide job seekers with support, coaching and opportunities to start studies or find a new path in their careers.

UN Sustainability Goals

We want to make a difference in the areas where we have the greatest opportunity to contribute. We have therefore selected five of the UN's sustainability goals that we have extra focus on, and on which we report progression. It is:

4. Quality Education

5. Gender equality

8. Decent work and economic growth

10. Reduced inequalities

13. Climate action

Competence and Career development
Competence development is an important part of a sustainable working life. Jefferson Well's goal is to contribute to both our employees' but also the business community's sustainability and development. This requires relevant expertise at many levels. We see continuous competence development of all our employees, regardless of where they have their workplace as crucial to our competitiveness. Competence development is also crucial for the individual's opportunity to remain relevant in the future labor market. Companies also need competent and learning-oriented employees to win in their markets and in their industry

Diversity and equality
For us at Jefferson Wells, diversity and equality are important goals. Competence-based diversity creates the conditions for increased growth and healthy organizations. Our recruitment processes are structured and objective, and skills, knowledge and competence always come first.

For us, it is important that our employees reflect the diversity that exists in society. In the same way, this is one of the reasons why people want to work with us.

Equality exists only if it is promoted
Jefferson Wells actively promotes career opportunities for women, and has documented processes and goals to show that this is more than words. In our organization, it goes without saying that women are represented in all roles and at all levels.

Environmental impact
As part of ManpowerGroup, we at Jefferson Wells work to reduce the negative impact our business has on the environment, and have a systematic environmental work based on continuous improvement. We are now environmentally certified in accordance with ISO 14001. The work is an integral part of ManpowerGroup's quality system.

Our biggest impact on the environment is mainly CO2 emissions from travel, electricity consumption and waste. Our environmental work and environmental policy therefore focus on travel patterns and carbon dioxide emissions from the business. The group aims to reduce CO2 by 5% by the end of 2021 measured against 2019 figures.
